Off to a flying start!

Those of you that have read our previous blogs, will be aware that during ‘lockdown’, we conceived ‘norm’; a practical and affordable solution to ‘WFH’. Anyway, we ran with it and within three weeks of our launch, we were appointed to design and build our first customised ‘norm’ garden office. The brief was to design a 6x3m garden studio, suitable for a co-working couple; David, a graphic designer and Valerie, an artist. David and Valerie had been considering building a garden studio for sometime, in fact well before ‘lockdown’, however, the current circumstances motivated them to get on with it sooner rather than later. Wise move guys. They looked around at lots of off the shelf solutions, however, they couldn’t find exactly what they were looking for; they didn’t want a generic garden office, they wanted something a bit different, something more personal to them. When David discovered ‘norm’ he got in touch and asked if we would consider doing a customised model. We said ‘absolutely’, the only condition being that whatever we came up with had to have a distinctly ‘norm’ look about it. So we embarked on a journey with David & Valerie to collectively create our first customised ‘norm’ garden office aka ‘papa norm’. This is us, one week in and already its starting to take shape.
